2009-12-04 13:09:40 ET I'm a total douche bag to people when they start it. I am not ashamed of this. I pull in to the closest parking space to my apt because there is a down poor. An old woman and her three dogs (lease limit 2 pets per apartment, non-negotiable) is standing at the edge of it. (I have a Miata, I didn't pull all the way in because I saw her and my car isn't long enough to need a whole parking space, there was a good 3.5 feet until I would've hit her.) The old woman walks up to me to yell at me about how I almost hit her and her dogs. In my annoyance I explain that my car has pop up head lights, and I am aware of how long my front end is and that not everyone has the difficulties with spatial reasoning she must have, not to mention it's a miata, at best it would've taken out 1 out of the 4 beings standing in front of it, and probably you because your dogs would fit underneath. She proceeds to continue yelling at me, something about damn teenagers (I'm 21, thank you) and speeding in parking lots. I decide to mention that humans and dogs belong on the lovely sidewalk/dog walk thing the apartment has created and that cars belong in parking spaces. Fuck old people. 3 comments

2009-11-30 05:00:23 ET Often times there's the realization that regardless of what you do you'll never be pretty or good enough. It's just a bit hard to swallow. Even after all the years that render this fact as self-evident.

2009-11-19 22:36:02 ET FML. Gotta make $1900 last for 2 more months... maybe more. Has to cover Dec. & Jan. expenses... lol. Fat chance.
