64 hours this week between both jobs. My mind is a pile of slush right now. Trying to jump start today with some coffee brewed with mountain dew instead of water. I use to use that combination when I was a residential apartment manager.

Got my 30 day review at Pella yesterday.Your suppose to receive a maximum of 30 points. In categories such as being coporative, knowing your product, quality, safety and so forth. And at 60 days you need a total of 60 points to qualify for employment. To make a long story short, I received 55 points for my 30 day review. It was one of the highest scores for an entry level employee! My floor managers, manager told me she wish she had 20 more employees like me, and that my overall work ethics were off the scale!!! Ya fucking think?! When I'm happy with what I do, I tend to excell.

Wallymart dragged last nite. Got off at 11pm. Fridays are balls, due to the fact that all the high school kids are running amuck in the aisles. Not too much for them to do in this town. Don't blame them. I did the same thing back in Cali. Assembled 9 bikes, 3 grills, and 4 pieces of furniture in a 6 hour shift, as well as tend to my dept.

Todays agenda is to try and paint more of the masonary walls under the mud room. Started that the other day. Found out I may have a bee hive in the brick wall. Fucking super!!! The sealer will block moisture, mildew and mold as well as other things.Them a nice coat of a semi gloss white, to make the area seem less dismal. Need to price some sheet plywood for the ceiling.

Finished mowing the lawn before the noon time.

Went to get some smokes and noticed the ride leaning to one side. Got a screw from somewhere in the tire. Figures.

My lady is going to go back to college. I'm all for education. Don't get me wrong. But shes more then likely going to quit her jobs! Told her I didn't want to hear any bitching if we can't afford to go to the movies and do things, and if progress on house repairs ceases!Since once again I'll be the only one bringing in money for food, utilities and bills!!!Last week between the jobs was 63 hours. I have to get use to the two jobs quick, to try and stay on top!!!

Slipped back into melancholish music the last few days:( Reverted too listening to older New Order stuff.Temptation, Love Less, etc etc. I dwell on what once was, and what will probaly never be again!!! I dwell on whom I miss severely, that if things were different, and I wasn't so fucking stubborn in the past. If things would have worked out. The thought of individuals who had no business sticking their schnoz in mine. Regrets galore, wishes on stars that never come true, My head tilted forwards exhaling hoping those I think about are okay, and not laying in a ditch somewhere!? Looking into the dawn and dusk wondering how the fuck I made it to where I am without going postal or for that matter locked up without a key! And that's just five minutes of a day, with twenty-three hours and fifty-five mintues of the day left.....

Back to house work I guess...................

Demolished an area under my house. Under what will be the houses rear mudroom. Ripped out an entire doors threshold with a crowbar. Then ripped two 2x6's out of cedar(for weather durability)with my table saw. Those are going to be the sides of the door frame. The header(top of door frame is in decent condition.

Been having an old school day for the last few days. Remembering the times when I had a kick ass system in my ride!Been doing research on speakers online and on ebay. I want a matched set for the interior(4x6's for the dash and 6x9's for the rear deck). And the trunk that could hold 4 dead hookers is fair game. Not sure if I want 2-10's or 2-12's. Maybe even one good quality 15 incher would be nice! And dynamat all door panels, trunk and anything else that rattles. Was thinking of Kicker seperates and a nice sized solobaric woofer. Any ideas? Send them my way.

 Week 2    2008-08-08 20:13:59 ET
Week 2 at pella started out good. Till one of the assembly lines, realized they were 3 people short. So I got drafted to go onto a production line. Making sliding door units, as well as rotating to and from the woodshop area.

The job I learned this week was installing muntins(its a word) strips on doors. Muntin strips are the 1/4 round pieces of wood that are on the interior of a wooden sliding door, that hold the glass in place, next to the frame. I have a 163 seconds(timed, and if i dont complete it, alarms go off) The job includes----Installing 2 spacers at door top, 2 on each side, and 2 on the bottom, place the muntins where they go, brad nail the top and bottom with 1 nail each, slap warning labels, and serial number labels on them.(remember a sliding door has two sides), and then shelp over to another area, where i attached 3 screws with a fixed screw gun into an aluminum siding piece on the door, then smack a button to send the door to it's next station for weather stripping and so forth.163 seconds= 2minutes 43 seconds, for the entire process of 2 door sides.I was fucking tired!!!

Next wednesday I start work at wallymart, assembling bikes and grills, etc etc, till 10pm at nite. I'm really going to be tired.....
