Well, everyone, don't be mad at me for not posting for a couple of weeks. I'm going home on leave for 2 weeks on Sunday morning and I'm not sure if i'll have a chance to update. I'll try tho.

A young man was killed in battle in Iraq the other day. He was 21 years of age. He was from Batesville, Indiana, not far from where my permenant home is located. I do not know his name, but I wanted to post a message about him in my journal as a way of honoring what he has done for us. Thank you, battle. We will not forget you. Your altrusitic service to our nation exemplifies the great sense of patriotism inherent in American citizens. Thank you for your intrepidity and your sacrifice! May you be at peace and find your place in Heaven.

Has anyone else found that swing music comes and goes sporadically? It makes it's appearance around every decade and then fades away again? Just a ponderance...
I am very excited, when I go home at the end of this month, I get to bring my zoot suit back with me!!!! I just may get Vato'ed out when I get back and go swing dancing.

I just got back from a great bible study session. This new group is great, I am really enjoying it!
I hope everyone had a great fourth of july weekend and didn't lose any philanges to explosions or anything of that nature.
